Barbara C. Lesieur

Barbara C. Lesieur, age 92, of Taunton, formerly of Warwick, passed away at her home on July 2, 2026. She was the wife of the late Louis Lesieur.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Sylvia (Bans) Andoscia.

Barbara worked as a leasing consultant at Carpionato Properties for many years before retiring.

Barbara was outgoing, fun-loving, and always eager to try something new. She loved to laugh, listen to music, and express herself through chic fashion. She found joy in simple pleasures, like blue skies dotted with white clouds. A gifted writer, she created insightful, humorous poetry and short stories. Barbara viewed the world through an artist's eye, finding beauty in everyday moments, and had a remarkable ability to turn acquaintances into friends wherever she went.

Survived by her children Lynn DiNatale, husband Glenn, and grandson Nickalas, son Steven Mercurio, wife Jennifer, son Michael, daughter Cristina (deceased) daughter Lucy, all of Florida, granddaughter Tanya Tillinghast, husband Gerry, daughters Symatha, Carissa, and Kendra, husband Nick, and daughter Cali.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her committal service on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 11:00 am, at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 S. County Trail, Exeter. Everyone is asked to gather in the parking area at 10:45 am, where the Administration Building is located at the entrance.
