Elizabeth Louise (Bruce) Karol

Elizabeth L. Karol (Bruce) 81, of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2020 at New England Sinai Hospital, in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Karol.
Born in Norton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Rosemarie (McAuley) Bruce.

Elizabeth loved to crochet and read. She also enjoyed going to the Taunton Senior Center.

She is survived by her two sons, Henry J. “Hank” Karol, Jr., and his wife Cathy, of East Taunton and Heath G. Karol, and his wife, Kelly of Taunton; three grandchildren, Jeanine Bresett, Heath G. Karol, Jr., and Zachary Karol; and two great grandchildren, Cayden Bresett and Liam Crowell.

According to her family’s wishes, Elizabeth’s funeral services and interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery will be privately held. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675 in her memory would be deeply appreciated.
