Joan Lorraine (Larocque) Emberley

Joan L. Emberley , 85, of Middleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2019 with her daughter by her side. She was the wife of the late Arthur F. Emberley.

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Oswald and Josephine (Rodgers) Larocque.

Joan worked as a switchboard operator for Winthrop-Atkins Company in Middleboro for many years, prior to retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa J. Budrow, of Norton; and a grandson, Sean Kearney, of Middleboro. Joan was predeceased by her siblings.

At her family’s request, funeral services and interment will be private. Visiting hours will be respectfully omitted.
