Joanne M. Braga

Joanne M. Braga, age 57, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Saint Anne's Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of Patricia M. (Nolet) Braga of Middleboro and the late Dennis R. Braga Sr.

Joanne worked as a caretaker for many years and had a deep love for her family and pets. She owned many cookbooks and loved to make delicious food for her family and friends, especially for family gatherings at the holidays. Joanne had a great sense of humor and was very compassionate and empathetic, always offering to help others in need.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her long-time partner Francis J. Verville, of Fall River, her three brothers, Dennis R. Braga Jr. of Somerset, Thomas P. Braga of Taunton, and Steven J. Braga of Taunton, her nephew, Dennis R. Braga III of Attleboro, and her nieces, Briana L. Braga of Taunton, and Elizabeth P. Braga of Taunton.

Joanne, may we meet again one sweet day. To honor her wishes, all funeral services will be privately held.
