Joseph J. Folcik

Joseph J. Folcik , 71, of Raynham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center, in Brighton. He was the loving husband of Barbara A. (Bednarz) Folcik.

Born in Taunton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Januse) Folcik.

Joe worked at Reed and Barton as a silversmith for over 40 years and served his community as a special reserve officer on the Raynham Police Department. Mr. Folcik was a proud member of the Polish-American Citizens Club in Taunton for many years. He was an avid fan of Nascar racing and loved gardening. Joe enjoyed going on cruises, traveling to Bermuda, Alaska, and the Caribbean Islands. He also enjoyed visiting his friends in Las Vegas, NV, and loved animals, especially Wilson, his Maine Coon cat, and his other cat, Madelyn.

Besides his wife, he leaves a brother, Michael Folcik, of Florida; a sister, Patricia Pozniak, of Glenview IL; and a nephew, Steven Bednarz, of Taunton.
