Kimberly Sue (Burt) Rannacher

Kimberly S. Rannacher , 49, of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at her home.

Born and raised in Taunton, she was the daughter of Susan (Ferris) Burt and the late Michael R. Burt.

She loved crafting, thrifting, visiting yard sales, and loved nature. Kim’s love of nature often inspired her artistic side. She also loved animals, never denying one in need. People who knew her remember her bright smile, her loving and generous nature, and her witty sense of humor.

Kim graduated from Taunton High School in 1989. She was a waitress of 15 years at the former Benjamin’s Restaurant in Taunton. Kim was also a Licensed Massage Therapist and former business owner. She was lastly employed at the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance in Taunton.

Besides her mother, Susan, she leaves behind her two loving daughters, Samantha S. Rannacher and Lily A. Rannacher, both of Taunton, her siblings, Michael A. Burt, of Michigan, Jeffrey R. Burt, of Berkley, and Rebecca L. Oliveira, of New York; and several nieces and nephews. Kim also leaves behind her beloved cat and companion, Jane.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Kim’s family on Monday, June 28, 2021, from 9:00 to 11:00 am, in the Sowiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals & Cremation Services, 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton.

Handicap access is located on the left side of the funeral home.

At 11:00 am, those who are present at Kim’s visitation are asked to kindly meet at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 249 Whittenton Street, Taunton for Kim’s Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm. From 11:00-11:30 am, will be private for her immediate family.

Interment will be privately held.
