Lee Ann Gueran

October 16, 1949 — May 25, 2021

Lee Ann Gueran, 71, of Taunton, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 25, 2021 at Morton Hospital.

Born in Middleboro, she was the daughter of the late Leslie F. and Avis G. Travers.

She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Massachusetts Department of Corrections in Bridgewater and for Saint Luke’s Hospital for thirty years before retiring.

Lee was an avid gardener and could often be seen tending to her flower beds. She enjoyed birds, squirrels, and chipmunks and always made sure they were well fed. The nature channel was one of her favorites and she loved Roy Orbison’s music.

She leaves her children, Barbara Erickson, of Northfield, VT, Peter R. Erickson, Jr., of Taunton, Julie Wirrell, of Taunton, and Ron Davidson, of East Bridgewater; her siblings, Edna Sabella, Jim Travers, June Rose, and Paul Travers; seventeen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Ms. Gueran was the mother of the late Daniel Erickson.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 beginning at 1:00 pm, at 189 Eldridge Street, Taunton. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be privately held.

Arrangements entrusted to the Sowiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals, 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton.
