LindaLee T. (Seekell) Ellis

LindaLee T. (Seekell) Ellis, age 73, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Linda was the oldest child of the late Benjamin A. Seekell, Jr., and Alice L. (Bianchi) Seekell. She was born in New Bedford, and raised in Taunton. She graduated from Bishop Cassidy High School and attended SMU. Linda worked as a Pharmacy Technician at the Brockton V.A. for many years.

An avid reader, Linda cherished "deck days"- reading under her gazebo, watching the birds, and looking out at Long Pond. She enjoyed bluegrass music, gardening, and good food. Linda loved animals, especially horses, ferrets, cats and dogs. Her two cats, MeCo and Humphrey brought her much comfort and happiness.

For more than 52 years Linda was the beloved wife of Bancroft A. Ellis. In addition to her husband Bancroft, she leaves her two children, Sarah L. Ellis and her wife Kristine M. Hilderbrand of Barrow, Alaska, and Bancroft A. Ellis, III and his wife Shannon K. (Mitchell) of Assonet; a sister, Kathleen Ayer of Maine; and her loving grandchildren, Braegha Olivia, Eloise Charlotte, Bancroft Alton "Blue", and Timothy Isaac Ellis. She was the sister of the late Benjamin A. Seekell, III and Timothy T. Seekell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Lakeville Eagles, 217 County Road, Lakeville, MA.
