Luz S Davis

August 24, 1948 — March 4, 2024

Luz S. Davis (Sotis) age 75, of Taunton, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Morton Hospital. She was the wife of Richard I. Davis. They had been married for nineteen years.

Born in Kinoguitan, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Agapito and Magarita (Cena) Sotis.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Liceo de Cagayan University in the Philippines.

Luz worked for Market Basket in Raynham as a cashier for fifteen years prior to retirement.

Mrs. Davis will be remembered for being very friendly and lively. She was Richard’s angel and a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by her two daughters, Eva Evelyn Manolas of Queens, New York and Yvonne Rademakers of Waco, TC; and four grandchildren, Ethan Poblete, Adriel Poblete, Jessica Rademakers, and Michael Rademakers. She was also the mother of the late Stanley Poblete.

A celebration of life and interment in the Philippines will be held at a later date.
