Manuel D. Laranjo

Manuel D. Laranjo , age 78, of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Barbara M. (Pereira) Laranjo. They had been married for fifty-two years.

Born in Cedros, Faial, Azores, he was the son of the late Henrique D. and Ana Gloria (Santos) Laranjo.

He worked for Royce Aluminum for several years before retiring.

Manuel enjoyed fishing and watching sports, especially Benfica. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Besides his wife Barbara, he leaves his children, Henrique M. Laranjo, Kevin D. Laranjo, and Kelly Sardinha and her husband Zacarias, all of Taunton; a sister, Fatima Soares of Bridgewater; and three grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Maria J. Pereira.

To honor Manuel’s wishes. All funeral services and interment in St. Joseph Cemetery will be privately held.
