Margarita Ocasio Vasquez

Margarita Ocasio Vasquez, 75, of Brockton, formerly of Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2020 at Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Brockton. She was the wife of Epifanio Figueroa Rosado.

Born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Rogelio Ocasio and Belen Vasquez.

Margarita loved spending time with her family.

Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Angel Figueroa, Melvin Figueroa, Ivonne Figueroa, Belen Figueroa, Nitza Figueroa, and Samuel Ocasio; siblings, David Ocasio, Zorry Ocasio, and Nidia Ocasio, as well as many grandchildren and extended family members. She was the sister of the late Eli, Saulo, and Luz.

Margarita’s funeral services will be held in Puerto Rico at Funeraria Y Capillas Ramirez Memorial, Carr # 2 Candelaria, Arecibo, Puerto Rico 00612. Interment will be in Cementerio Municipal De Florida, Florida, Puerto Rico.

Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Sowiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals & Cremation Services, 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton, MA.
