Norberto Sanchez, Jr

Norberto Sanchez, Jr., age 53, of Taunton, passed away on February 16, 2023.

Born in Taunton, he was the son of Gloria (Rivera) Sanchez and the late Norberto Sanchez, Sr.

He worked as an automotive mechanic for many years. Even though being a mechanic was his job, he would often work on friends and family members cars. Norberto cherished spending time with his daughters. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing. Norberto also loved music, especially Salsa and horror movies. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Besides his mother Gloria, he leaves his two daughters; twosisters, Amy Vasconcellos of Lakeville and Janet Hernandez of Rockland; three brothers, Edwin Pena of Taunton, Andy Pena of Virginia, and Manuel Sanchez of Taunton; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Norberto’s family on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the Sowiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals, 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton. A committal service and interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.
