Shaun Paul Cyr

Shaun P. Cyr , age 41, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022, at the Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Melanie Correia Cyr.

Born in Hartford, CT, he was the son of Michael Cyr and Paula (Taylor) Proulx.

He was a resident of Massachusetts for 20 years and was a graduate of New England Tech, earning an associate degree. He worked as a master mechanic for many years and was very skilled. An avid Boston Red Sox fan, he also enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved cars.

Mr. Cyr was extremely loyal and was a great husband, father, stepfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need and was a protector of those he
loved.

In addition to his wife Melanie and his parents, he leaves his children, Christian Cyr, Brittany Perry, and Kaleigh Perry; two sisters, Amy Gossen and Melissa Westover; his best friend/brother, Andrew Daher; and many other close friends. He was also the brother of the late Michael Cyr, Jr.

To honor Shaun’s wishes, all services will be held privately.
