Ugo Queen Odenigbo (Ojede) age 56, of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted and loving wife of Ogomezie Odenigbo.
Born in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, she was the daughter of the late Michael Ojede Sr and Comfort (Chiezukwa) Ojede. Ugo touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Ugo dedicated her life to caring for others working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her commitment to home health care was a calling and she did it with grace and integrity for many years.
She was a woman of joy, embodying a lovely personality that drew people to her. Family and friends admired her incredible strength, which she displayed both in her personal life and which she offered others. Her passions included singing, particularly gospel music, where her soul resonated through melodies that uplifted both her spirit and those of others around her. Ugo also enjoyed cooking and taking many photographs.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her beloved daughters, Favor and Faith Odenigbo of Taunton, a brother Michael Ojede; of Nigeria and her sister, Helen Adingupu, of Nigeria.
A private visitation will be held locally for her family. Her funeral services and interment will be held in Nigeria.
