David F. Leoncello “Dave”, age 45, of Brockton, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
Born in Medford, MA, he was the son of David Leoncello, Sr., and the late Ellen M. (James) Leoncello.
Dave worked as a chef at Larry’s Locos Tacos Food Truck in Carver, a job he truly enjoyed as he loved cooking. He enjoyed sports and was a huge fan of the San Antonio Spurs as well as all the Boston sports except for the Boston Bruins. Music was also one of Dave’s passions, especially country music. He also liked to go bowling, was an avid wrestling fan, had a love for karaoke, and Halloween was his favorite holiday. Most of all, caring for his two daughters was most important.
David will be remembered as a dedicated, humble, loving person with the biggest and kindest heart.
He is survived by his two daughters, Taryn and Juliana; his sibling, Jason Leoncello and his wife Brandi of East Bridgewater, Michael Leoncello and his wife Melissa of Taunton, and Tracy Darrah and her husband Michael of Taunton; his paternal grandmother, Theresa Leoncello of Hyde Park and maternal grandmother, Elaine James of Medford; an aunt and uncle, Dennis and Lisa Leoncello both of Fall River; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dave is also survived by his girlfriend Tammy Curtis.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit Dave’s family on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at Sowiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals, 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton. The internment will be privately held.
