Obituary


Lois E. Dillingham (Horton) 95, of North Dighton, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. She was the wife of the late John Q. Dillingham, Jr.

Born in Dighton, she was the daughter of the late George R. and Bernice (Davis) Horton.

She worked many years in Providence for Color Worsted Mills before marrying and then went on to work for Princess House as a china inspector.

Lois greatly enjoyed cooking, dancing, traveling, entertaining & antiques.

Mrs. Dillingham is survived by her two children, John Q. Dillingham III, and his wife Kim, of North Dighton and Betsy Cook, and her husband Clif, of Georgetown, Maine; her three loving grandchildren, Erin Dillingham, Hannah Cataloni, and her husband James, and Benjamin Cook; and one great-grandchild John Cataloni.

To honor Lois’ wishes, a private interment will be held at the Fox Cemetery in Berkley, MA at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Sowiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals & Cremation Services, 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton, MA.
