Steven J. Wengal

Steven J. Wengal , 57, of Littleton, MA, died suddenly at New England Sinai Hospital on March 5th, 2021 after courageously fighting a long battle against a myriad of physical afflictions.
Steven was born and raised in Taunton, MA, graduating from Taunton High School in 1981 where he played hockey and ran track. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1985 and an MBA in 1990.
Twenty-seven years ago, Steven was diagnosed with neuro-sarcoidosis leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Despite his physical limitations he maintained an independent lifestyle, never complaining or feeling sorry for himself.
Steven worked in several regions around the country before returning to Massachusetts and settling down in Littleton. He was most recently employed at Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA as a computer programmer.
Steven was a devoted father to his son, Henry, who was the joy of his life.
In addition to Henry, he leaves his parents, Stanley and Joan Wengal; a brother, Michael Wengal and his wife Jeanne Marie; his niece, Sarah; aunts, Patricia Koss, Carolyn Straub, and Uncle George Straub as well as many cousins.
Due to covid restrictions funeral services will be private.
